Wayne Schepens serves as the managing director of LaunchTech Communications, to which he brings over two decades of cybersecurity industry experience. His career encompasses founding a successful cybersecurity software company and collaborating with prestigious institutions including the U.S. Military Academy and the Naval Surface Warfare Center. At LaunchTech, Wayne Schepens oversees business operations, strategic accounts, and agency growth, having built the company into a $2 million PR and marketing agency with 10 employees within two years. His leadership has established LaunchTech’s PR prominence in the security sector, earning SC Magazine awards and speaking opportunities at the Black Hat cybersecurity series and at RSA for clients.

Previously, as vice president at W2 Communications, Mr. Schepens directed sales and marketing strategies for cybersecurity companies. As co-founder and chief strategist at Soteria Network Technologies, he successfully raised angel and venture-capital funding, later transitioning the company to become Lookingglass Cyber Solutions. His public sector experience includes managing a 300-person organization and coordinating network analysis activities for government agencies, including the CIA and the US State Department.
